Scouting for Food 2019

November 9th & 16th

Scouting for Food
Over the years, Scouting for Food effort has truly been one of the most impressive undertakings by the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Crews, Sea Scouts, Explorers and their leaders and parents. It has been a coordinated team effort that feeds the hungry.

Scouts will be distributing flyers in their neighborhoods beginning November 9.  All donations will be picked up by the Scouts and Leaders on Saturday, November 16 and taken to the local Food Bank.

THANK YOU for your generous donations and support of this annual campaign!

Recycle your Christmas Tree!

Recycle your Christmas tree!

Each year, the Boy Scouts team up with Solano Garbage for Christmas Tree recycling. If you enjoy the ambiance of a real tree, consider recycling it when the season is over. The scouts will pick up your Christmas Tree and it will be recycled and used as mulch for the city landscaping.

Help support Scouting in your community, build strong character in our Scouts, and give back to our environment.

Suggested donation: $10

Trees should be ready before 7am on the day of your scheduled pickup. Make sure lights, ornaments and stands are off the tree. Tinsel must be removed but flocking is okay.
